At Kailash Journeys Pty Ltd (Booking Company), trading as kailashmansarovaryatra.com.au and Kailash Vision Treks (Operator), our priority is to ensure you enjoy your pilgrimage and trust our services. However, we must establish clear guidelines regarding cancellations and refunds due to the nature of this journey and the third-party arrangements involved.
I. Cancellations by Traveller
If you wish to cancel your booking, you must send a written cancellation notice to aus@kailashvisiontreks.com. The cancellation will be effective from the date we receive your notice and is subject to the following conditions:
- 60 days or more before departure: A refund will be provided after deducting AUD 500 per person as administrative and booking processing fees. If the itinerary includes the Muktinath trip, an additional AUD 200 per person will be charged.
- Within 45 days of departure: No refund will be issued.
- No-show or cancellation after reaching the starting point: The full payment is non-refundable and non-adjustable.
II. Cancellations by Operator or Due to Force Majeure
- Kailash Journeys Pty Ltd and Kailash Vision Treks are not responsible for cancellations or disruptions due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to industrial disputes, technical failures of transportation, delays, government restrictions, natural disasters, or force majeure events.
- If the tour is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, a refund will be issued after deducting actual expenses incurred for permits, logistics, and other non-refundable costs.
III. Non-Refundable Components
- Certain costs, such as Tibet Entry Fees and service charges managed by third-party agents or suppliers along the route, are strictly non-refundable. These are fixed costs beyond our discretion and cannot be adjusted or waived.
