Day 01 (Sunday Kathmandu Arrival Date)
Kathmandu Arrival (1400m) - Overnight in Kathmandu
- Welcome to Nepal, a representative from us will be there at the Tribhuvan International airport to meet & greet you and transfer you to the hotel by private vehicle.
- Hotel: Deluxe Hotel – Hotel Tibet / Hotel Moonlight
- Meal: Dinner Only at Hotel

Kathmandu Sightseeing - Half Day
- 08:00 AM: After Breakfast – sightseeing of Pashupatinath Temple, Shakti Peeth, Boudha Stupa and Budhanilkantha.
- Meal: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 03
Visit Bhaktapur
- After breakfast visit Bhaktapur Durbar square and Dholeshwor mahadev.
- Meal: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 04
Dakchinkali Devi Temple
- Morning 08:00 AM – Visit Dakchinkali devi temple, return back to the hotel. Take a lunch & rest day.

Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square & Swyambhu Stupa
- After breakfast 09:00 AM – Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square & Swayambhu stupa.

Day 06
Drive Kathmandu - Kodari (120 Km / 4 Hr drive)
- After breakfast drive to Kodari by bus. The drive to Kodari is not long in distance but the road and traffic conditions can make it tiring and time taking. Upon reaching Kodari stay in a lodge/guesthouse. Dinner and stay at the guesthouse.

Day 07
Drive Kodari – Nyalam ( 55 Km / 1 hrs)
- After breakfast– immigration formalities the group will cross the border on foot to reach China side. The pilgrims are then transferred on their Chinese bus for onward drive to Nyalam (55 Km). We travel in sturdy and comfortable vehicles that are controlled and guided by Tibetans. The accompanying Nepalese Sherpas get into the coaches after loading the food materials water etc and the onward journey into the Tibetan/Chinese region continues toward the town of Nyalam. On arrival, check into room and take rest for today. Overnight stay will be in a guesthouse at Nyalam in dormitory style.

Day 08
Free day at Nyalam for acclimatization
- This day is reserved for rest for acclimatization in Tibet’s tough climate. Our tour manager will assist you for a short Local walking at Nayalam for warming up your body to adjust with Tibet’s high altitude. Also, you can enjoy the day with chanting Bhajan or Katha in the guesthouse.

Day 09
Nyalam – Saga (235 KM / 4-5Hrs.)
- After on enjoyable drive through the mountains terrain and then the plains provides us a marvelous . The yearlong Tsangpo (Brahmaputtra River) is crossed over on, past the turn off for the northern route, and arrive at settlement of Saga (4840m). The landscape gradually changes to the high plains of Tibet, soft beautiful and photogenic.. Stay overnight at guest house.

Day 10
Drive to Mansarovar Lake (4550m)
- 08:00 AM: Drive towards Manasarovar Lake (390 Km / 8 hrs) crossing beautiful places and stay at the shore of the Lake. Fill spiritual water.
Today we will do a half day Parikrama of Mansarovar Lake by another vehicle( Local vehicle). - Stay: Mud House

Day 11
Drive to Darchen (4650m)
- Most of the day – Perform Puja (prayer ritual) at Manasarovar Lake
After Lunch – We will do rest of Mansarovar parikrama & drive to Darchen (35 km – 1hrs) - Stay: Hotel
- Meals: Breakfast; Lunch & Dinner

Day 12
First Day of Outer Kora - Trek to Dirapuk (4860m)
- 10:00AM – After a short drive, we will reach Tarboche and visit Yama Dwar. This is the starting point for Kora. We will trek to Dirapuk (4860 m) which is a 12 km trek (5-6 hrs). You will visit the North face of Mt. Kailash.Travelers who do not want to trek around (Parikrama) Kailash can go back to Darchen and wait for the rest of the group to arrive from Parikrama.
(If you are not doing Parikrama, then you will be waiting at Darchen – Mud Guest House multiple sharing (if using hotel Himalaya /any Chinese Hotel with attached bathrooms then Cost Difference USD50 per person for 2 nights to be paid directly by guest) till Group return from Parikrma; we will arrange accommodation & Meals.) - Stay: Mud Guest House
- Meal: Breakfast at Darchen, Packed Lunch, Dinner.
- Altitude: 4950m
Day 13
Second Day of Outer Kora - On to Zuthulphuk (4670m) with Trek to Dolma La Pass
- Today is the most challenging day in our Yatra. Who would like to go for Charan Sparsh / 4 Km one way. (If the Chinese government allows it. Scins august 2024 they have closed charanspars) Can go Early in the Morning or can go the previous day Day 12 after reaching Diraphuk.
- 07:00AM – Trek from Dirapuk to Dolma La Pass and proceed to Zuthulphuk (22 km trek for 10-12 hours trek). This is the most difficult journey throughout the yatra since you have to trek up to 5700 ft. From descend to Gaurikund and further trek along the river to Zuthulu-puk.
- Stay: Mud Guest House
- Meal: Breakfast, Packed Lunch, Dinner
- Altitude: 4850m
NOTE: If you are not doing Parikrama, then you will still be waiting at Darchen
Day 14
Drive Back to Saga (4550m)
- 08:00AM – After a short Trek (8kms – 2 – 3hrs) and reach the point where the coach will be waiting, we will drive to Darchen and merge with other members who were waiting and drive to Saga. (480 KM – 9-10 hrs)
- Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 15
Drive Saga to Nyalam (245Km / 4–5 Hrs. Drive)
- After breakfast we begin our journey towards Nyalam. On the way we pass through the town of Saga, Driving on well pitched roads and mountainous terrain we reach Nyalam for an overnight. Stay in a guest house
- Hotel: Guest House-Multiple Sharing Drive: 6/7 Hrs. Drive
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 16
Nyalam - Kathmandu (175 km / 6 – 7 hrs. drive)
- After breakfast drive from Nyalam towards we walk to the Nepalese immigration control in Nyalam, complete the re-entry formalities and get transferred to our hotel in Kathmandu. This should take about 6- 7 hours by bus. Dinner and night stay will be in the Hotel.

Transfer to Kathmandu Airport
- You will be free till your flight time. We will drop you at the Airport 3 hours before flight time (30 mins drive).

At Kailash Journeys Pty Ltd (Booking Company), trading as kailashmansarovaryatra.com.au and Kailash Vision Treks (Operator), our priority is to ensure you enjoy your pilgrimage and trust our services. However, we must establish clear guidelines regarding cancellations and refunds due to the nature of this journey and the third-party arrangements involved.
I. Cancellations by Traveller
If you wish to cancel your booking, you must send a written cancellation notice to aus@kailashvisiontreks.com. The cancellation will be effective from the date we receive your notice and is subject to the following conditions:
- 60 days or more before departure: A refund will be provided after deducting AUD 500 per person as administrative and booking processing fees. If the itinerary includes the Muktinath trip, an additional AUD 200 per person will be charged.
- Within 45 days of departure: No refund will be issued.
- No-show or cancellation after reaching the starting point: The full payment is non-refundable and non-adjustable.
II. Cancellations by Operator or Due to Force Majeure
- Kailash Journeys Pty Ltd and Kailash Vision Treks are not responsible for cancellations or disruptions due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to industrial disputes, technical failures of transportation, delays, government restrictions, natural disasters, or force majeure events.
- If the tour is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, a refund will be issued after deducting actual expenses incurred for permits, logistics, and other non-refundable costs.
III. Non-Refundable Components
- Certain costs, such as Tibet Entry Fees and service charges managed by third-party agents or suppliers along the route, are strictly non-refundable. These are fixed costs beyond our discretion and cannot be adjusted or waived.
