Day 01 (Kathmandu Arrival Date)
Kathmandu Arrival (1400m) - Overnight in Kathmandu
- Welcome to Nepal, a representative from Kailash Vision Treks will be there at the Tribhuvan International airport to meet & greet you and transfer you to the hotel by private vehicle.
- Meal: Dinner Only at Hotel

Day 02
Kathmandu Sightseeing
- After breakfast, you will do a half day sightseeing in Kathmandu including Pashupatinath temple, Boudha Nath Stupa & Budhanilkantha.

Day 03
Visit Bhaktapur
- After breakfast visit Bhaktapur Durbar square and Dholeshwor mahadev.

Kathmandu Sightseeing
- After breakfast 09:00 AM – Visit Swayambhu stupa & Kathmandu durbar square.

Fly to Nepalgunj
- This day after lunch, at 3:00PM drive to the airport and fly to Nepalgunj.
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included

Day 06
Fly from Nepalgunj to Simikot / Hilsa (2910 m)
- Early morning after tea, you will drive to Nepalgunj airport to catch the flight to Simikot.
- Simikot (2910m) is the district Headquarter of Humla, a mountain district of Nepal. It is also a gateway to the Kailash tour by Helicopter. You will spend the rest of the day there to acclimatize; and if you will have a little more time, you will do a short trek around Simikot. In the meantime we will finish immigration process on the Nepal side. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Note: On this day, depending on the situation we can go to Hilsa from Simikot by helicopter. Hilsa is not a developed, riverside small village. - Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included

Day 07
Simikot - Hilsa - Taklakot
- After breakfast, we will walk to Simikot airport and take a helicopter to Hilsa. It takes 20 minutes to reach Hilsa. You will see the scenic view of green hills and snow capped mountains along with the deep river gorge of River Karnali from the helicopter. After a 30 minute walk from Hilsa, we will reach the immigration office and we will get the pass to enter into Tibet. Our vehicle will be waiting us in the Tibet side. Nearly after 45 minutes drive, we will arrive at Taklakot/Purang (4025 m). Overnight stay at Hotel in Taklakot.

Day 08
Drive to Manasarovar Lake (4550m) - Overnight in Mansarovar
- After breakfast, we drive to the holy and beautiful lake MANSAROVAR (4550m). It is 88 KM far from Taklakot to Mansarovar which will take 1.5 hours. RAKCHHAS TAL is another lake on the way to Mansarovar; we stop there for a few minutes to catch an amazing beauty of the lake. Then we continued to drive to Mansarovar.On this day we will do all puja at Mansarovar lake. After lunch at the guest house; we will be ready for Mansarovar kora with a vehicle. It is the most auspicious day for us as we will see the first glimpse of holy Kailash and sacred Lake Mansarovar. We will take a holy bath on the bank of Mansarovar. Overnight stay at Guest house in Mansarovar.

Day 09
Drive to Darchen
- After Breakfast drive towards Darchen(1 hrs. drive). rest day at darchen.

Day 10
Drive to Yama Dwara Trek to Deruphuk (4909 m) - 12 Km
- After breakfast drive Yamadwar (Tarboche) is the starting point of Kailash Parikrama. Tarboche is also well known as an outer “Asthapath”. It is one of the exciting days walking along the beautiful rocky cliffs; waterfalls with some clouds in the clear blue sky which makes you feel that Great God Shiva is everywhere with tons of blessing to you. We see Ganesh Parwat on its’ side. Time to time the north face of Kailash Parbat will keep on appearing. Overnight at Guest house. If you are not doing Parikrama, then you will be waiting at Darchen till Group return from Parikrama; we will arrange accommodation and meals.

Day 11
Trek to Zutulphuk (4820 m) 4760 m) (22 km)
- Trek from Dirapuk to Dolma La Pass and proceed to Zuthulphuk (22 km trek for 8-9 hours trek). This is the most difficult journey throughout the yatra since you have to trek up to 5700 ft. From descend to Gaurikund and further trek along the river to Zuthulu-puk.

Day 12
Zutulphuk to Taklakot or Hilsa (8 Km Treks)
- After early breakfast, we will walk 3 hours to catch our vehicle to the Nepal border. Our staff will prepare lunch in Darchen (on the way to Hilsa).
- After lunch we will continue drive to Nepal border. We will make immigration procedures to exit Tibet and do short walk to Hilsa in Nepal side. Dinner & Overnight at guest house in Hilsa .

Day 13
Hilsa to Simikot, fly to Nepalgunj and fly back to Kathmandu
- If you stayed in Hilsa then Early in the morning, fly by Heli to Simikot. We will catch another flight to Nepalgunj. Drive to the hotel at Nepalgunj, have lunch and take rest for a while, in the evening 4:PM drive to airport, fly to Kathmandu. Dinner & overnight at Kathmandu.

Departure - Transfer to Kathmandu Airport
- Final Departure Nearly 2 hours before your scheduled flight, our company representative will take you to the airport. We hope you would enjoy the holy tour and sure you will be back for the next pilgrimage tour somewhere in the Himalaya again. If anyone would like to go to Muktinath then the itinerary will be added as per the route.

However, we must establish clear guidelines regarding cancellations and refunds due to the nature of this journey and the third-party arrangements involved.
I. Cancellations by Traveller
If you wish to cancel your booking, you must send a written cancellation notice to aus@kailashvisiontreks.com. The cancellation will be effective from the date we receive your notice and is subject to the following conditions:
- 60 days or more before departure: A refund will be provided after deducting AUD 500 per person as administrative and booking processing fees. If the itinerary includes the Muktinath trip, an additional AUD 200 per person will be charged.
- Within 45 days of departure: No refund will be issued.
- No-show or cancellation after reaching the starting point: The full payment is non-refundable and non-adjustable.
II. Cancellations by Operator or Due to Force Majeure
- Kailash Journeys Pty Ltd and Kailash Vision Treks are not responsible for cancellations or disruptions due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to industrial disputes, technical failures of transportation, delays, government restrictions, natural disasters, or force majeure events.
- If the tour is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, a refund will be issued after deducting actual expenses incurred for permits, logistics, and other non-refundable costs.
III. Non-Refundable Components
- Certain costs, such as Tibet Entry Fees and service charges managed by third-party agents or suppliers along the route, are strictly non-refundable. These are fixed costs beyond our discretion and cannot be adjusted or waived.
